Team Smith

My team consists of some pretty amazing people. We have a professional athlete who has traveled the world learning several languages, we have a girl that wants to work for a non-profit organization that benefits special needs children, and we also have a sneaker head.

Lisa Quinones is from West Babylon, New York, and she is majoring in Business Administration. She is possibly minoring in non-profit leadership and hopes to work for a non-profit organization in the future. She played volleyball, basketball, and lacrosse for her high school. After college, she plans on staying in West Babylon because she doesn't want to leave the luxury of having the beach 15 minutes away and the city an hour away, which is very understandable.

Matt D'Angelo is from Chester Springs, PA. He is planning on majoring in Communications. He has played baseball his whole life, and he has traveled almost everywhere to compete in baseball tournaments. Matt spends his summers in South Carolina golfing everyday and enjoying the warm weather. Matt plans to live in the South when he gets older.

Zishawn Qureshi is from Miami, Florida. He is majoring in International Business with a focus in Spanish language. He currently plays professional cricket for Guyana and will have traveled to 20 countries after this upcoming summer. Other than English, Zishawn speaks Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi fluently. Zishawn is currently learning Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian. When he was in high school, Zishawn went to school with kids from 37 different counties, and that is how he got interesting in learning different languages.

Victoria Freeman is a sneakerhead. She owns over 200 different pairs of shoes, and she doesn't seem to stop. She is from Charlotte, North Carolina, so she is not too far from where I live. She is majoring in Neuroscience, and she plays club basketball for High Point University. She has skydived 3 different times, so you could say she loves adrenaline.
